Treasure Hunting Starts Here
Looking for something different to do at camp?
Welcome to one of the most unexpected (and addictive) activities at Eagle’s Rest—magnet fishing.
It’s simple. It’s fun. And you never know what you’re going to pull up next.
Drop a magnet into the river…
Drag it along the bottom…
And see what history, mystery, or random chaos you uncover.
Coins, tools, fishing gear, old metal relics—even the occasional “what the hell is that?” find.

Each rental includes a custom treasure map showing public access points along the Gaspereau and Salmon River, so you can explore safely and legally. This is for families looking for something fun and different, kids who want a real-life treasure hunt, campers who like a bit of adventure, and anyone who enjoys the thrill of the unknown. This isn’t polished or curated—it’s real, hands-on, riverbank exploring. You might find something amazing, or you might pull up a rusty bolt and a story to tell, but either way you’re outside, unplugged, and doing something worth remembering. Treasure kits are available at the camp in limited quantities and are offered on a first come, first served basis—so if you’re ready to see what’s hiding beneath the surface, now’s your chance.

Perfect for nature lovers, our gift certificates can be used for camping reservations and/or River Tubing.
